I had imagined that becoming a father during an Ashes series held in Australia would make the night feeds a bit more bearable. But England’s performances have been has much pain to the eyes as Baby Boot’s screams are to my ears. At least late this morning, there was an opportunity to watch an absolutely breathtaking century by Adam Gilchrist. OK, he’s an Australian, but by the time he got his 50 in 40 deliveries, I was past caring. Stupendous stuff. Along with Cricinfo, I urge you to check out the highlights – a bit of a misnomer as I guess they would show all 57 deliveries.
